As the title implies, this chart does not rest for a moment. It moves from one tempo to another, doubling up and then doubling in tempo again. Needless to say, Stop/Go is an exciting excursion into the very hip mind of Bill Holman. The chart requires soprano saxophone on the lead part. Holman's humor comes to the fore in this fascinating arrangement. 5-4-4-3
