Si! Si! - M.F. (Edited) is Don Rader’s clever Latin tune that was arranged for and recorded by the Maynard Ferguson Band on the Roulette CD Si! Si! - M.F. This arrangement, however, is done by Bob Curnow for the normal big band instrumentation, and it is also a much more expanded version of Don’s great Latin tune. Prepared in the latest v. of Finale, this Latin Montuno smokes. There is solo space for tenor saxophone, piano and any or all the trumpet players. You can do what you want with the solos. (Audio available soon) Maynard had a small band, and this is how we put this together: 4 saxes, 4 tpts., 2 trbs., and 3 rhythm. There is also a brand new arrangement version of this tune in its original form as played and recorded by Maynard’s band. It is our number 1362. Medium-Advanced. 5-4-4-3
