Bob Curnow has written some marvelous arrangements of Metheny/Mays music in the past, and this chart surely belongs to that wonderful "new" big band literature he has created with such pieces as "The First Circle" and "Minuano." This piece was originally recorded on the "Speaking of Now" CD, and it is scored to feature solo space for alto saxophone and trumpet. Modest ranges (tpt. high D only) make this a very playable chart in a medium/latin setting. Eight-plus minutes of amazing music! 5-4-4-4 (opt. 10 brass parts)
