This new, original piece by the great Fred Sturm features drum set throughout in a modern swing tune that winds through many different feels. Utilizing brushes and sticks, the drummer is asked to create a lot of interplay with the ensemble and plenty of solo space. This is a very clever and understated piece with quite playable ensemble parts (very reasonable brass ranges) and beautiful writing.
