When the Buddy Rich Band played this chart, everyone loved it! Oliver Nelson takes this terrific Duke Ellington tune to another level. The great sax section soli, which was not on the Rich recording (Swingin' New Big Band CD) is included, along with solo space for trumpet. The tempo is right in the pocket and swings like crazy! A classic chart on a classic tune! 5-4-4-4
